Ever since she was a child, Anna Schneider has loved stories. She always listened to the tales told by the guests at her grandmother's tavern run by the family in a small village. Not suprisingly she is also inspired by everyday life for her thrillers nowadays. The idea for the Grenzfall-Series came from a newspaper report about a missing hiker in the area of Bad Tölz. The proximity to the Austrian border did the rest. Set in both countries, Germany and Austria, the series features two investigators who have conflicting approaches, but must find a way to grow together as a team - for several reasons. Anna Schneider lives with her family near Munich and in the Netherlands.
