Hi, I’m Auke, and I’m part of a global community called Skriuwer, where we collaborate to create books that inspire, educate, and connect people. But this project is extra special to me because it’s all about supporting something close to my heart: the Frisian language. As someone with deep roots in the Frisian culture, I believe in the power of language to preserve our history, identity, and sense of belonging. That’s why all the profits from the book sales will go to De Fryske Wrâld (The Frisian World), a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping the Frisian language alive and thriving.
