I was born and raised in Indiana where I married my high school sweetheart. We raised two amazing children who are now adults and forging their own paths in this crazy world. After spending nearly eight years living and working in Colorado, we returned to our hometown where we reside to this day. We love spending our free time split between Northwestern Michigan and the mountains of Colorado. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities like adventure motorcycle touring, sailing, fly fishing, hiking, snorkeling, snowmobiling and many other winter sports. They help keep me sane. Writing a novel was a dream of mine for most of my adult life. However, it wasn’t until I turned fifty that I finally committed to writing a full-length novel. The details of The Extradition came to me in a vivid dream a couple months before my fiftieth birthday. After waking abruptly around 2 a.m., I started outlining what became the skeleton of my first book.
