Dr. Barbara "Basia" Andraka-Christou is an Assistant Professor in the School of Global Health Management & Informatics at the University of Central Florida. Her research has been published in elite peer-reviewed health policy and substance use journals, including the Health Affairs, JAMA Network Open, Substance Abuse, Journal of Addiction Medicine, Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment, the International Journal of Drug Policy, and the American Journal of Drug & Alcohol Abuse. She has also authored an e-textbook, Health Law & Ethics, with Cognella Academic Publishing. She has appeared on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered and Morning Edition. She received her J.D. and Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington.
