Chris Smaje

I’m interested in farming, the environment and politics and my writing focuses on the intersections between them. I’ve written two books for the publisher Chelsea Green on these issues. I’m a social scientist by training and I used to work in universities, where I wrote books and papers mostly on health, social policy and race/ethnicity. I now help to run a small farm in Somerset, southwest England when I’m not writing.
