David Maybury served as Naval Flight Officer, Engineering Flight Test Officer and Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer for the U.S. Navy. He flew attack aircraft from aircraft carriers, tested supersonic fighter-attack aircraft, provided engineering management for the F/A-18 aircraft and led an aircraft structural repair detachment in Okinawa, Japan. He has master and bachelor of science degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado. David is a 1990 graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School and possesses an Airline Transport Pilot license with a 737-900 type rating.
