Gary R. Simonds

Gary Simonds an accomplished neurosurgeon who writes, gives talks, and holds classes on a diverse range of topics including burnout and wellness, education, ethics, humanism, neurosurgery, neuroscience, healthcare delivery science, medical socioeconomics, and healthcare careers. Although his three previous books focus on burnout in healthcare, he has now entered the world of fiction writing with his novels, Death's Pale Flag and One Happy Accident. He is busy writing his next two novels and teaching medical students and undergraduates at Virginia Tech.
