I’m originally from Kiev, Ukraine, with Ukrainian and Lithuanian roots, but I’ve been living in California’s Bay Area for the past 32 years. Growing up, I was hooked on the Brothers Grimm, as well as Ukrainian and Lithuanian folk tales. These stories sparked my imagination, and I’ve always enjoyed making up fairy tales, even as a kid. When I became a mom to two daughters, my storytelling grew even more. They have always been my favorite audience for all the wild tales I could dream up. My stories are all about creating a bit of fun and entertainment. Sometimes kids (and parents!) just need a little bit of silly, joyful storytelling to escape for a while.
