Ivy Mix is the owner of the James Beard nominated bar Leyenda as well as her bottle shop FIASCO! Wine + Spirits both in Brooklyn, NY. Over the tenure of her career, Ivy has been recognized within the culinary and cocktail industry as one of the best bartenders in the country. In 2015, she was named American Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards and Mixologist of the Year by Wine Enthusiast in 2016. Her debut book, Spirits of Latin America, received acclaim from Esquire, IACP, and Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards. Additionally, she co-founded Speed Rack, a cocktail competition and breast cancer charity that fights for diversity in the cocktail while while simultaneously raising funds for a breast cancer cure. To date, they have raised 1,750,000 for different charities.
