Jeff Groberman is a Canadian writer and producer. He was born and raised in Vancouver. While at SFU he approached CBC to write a series of topical comedy sketches. The sketches, co-written with SFU classmate Colin Yardley, played locally - then nationally on CBC radio. A year later the CBC approached them to develop a one-hour national comedy show and the infamous Dr. Bundolo’s Pandemonium Medicine show was born. In 1976, Jeff left the show, to join CKVU. Jeff was one of the first people hired for the station’s flagship Vancouver Show. Jeff remained at CKVU for 5 years working as a writer, performer, producer and executive producer. 1980 he returned to CBC to produce two seasons of Dr. Bundolo for television. In 1981 he was asked to produce the Paul Anka Show which included guests such as the Smothers Brothers, Tony Orlando, Andy Williams, Anne Murray and a young Wayne Gretsky. In 1984 Jeff formed his own company, PrimeTime Creative Services and produced shows for CBC, PBS, CTV, Global and the Knowledge Network. He co-wrote The Complete Garage Sale Book, which sold three different editions in Canada and the U. S. His recent screen play was a finalist in the Page International Screenwriting Contest. He was an instructor at the Vancouver Film School. Jeff has received an ACTRA award for Dr. Bundolo, and several CAN PRO awards for shows he produced while at CKVU. He was inducted into the British Columbia Entertainment Hall of Fame in October 2019. In 2004 Jeff became a travel writer. His humorous adventures appeared in newspapers and blogs across the country and the world. Jeff was also a torch runner in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Jeff is married, whit two adult children, three grandchildren and lives in British Columbia, Canada.
