Joseph G. LyonWurm is a public anthropologist and the founder of the educational non-profit Everyday Anthropology. Joseph has created a unique platform which connects experts and laypeople alike to the rich cultural histories underlying everyday objects and locations. Through Everyday Anthropology, numerous short documentaries as well as two feature length DVD releases have been published, as well as two books, entitled "Going Home: A Story of Finding Yourself at The Beginning," and "The Cast Iron Field Guide: Researching 19th Century Hollowware and How to Identify it in the Wild." Currently located in Rhode Island, Everyday Anthropology is expanding to be able to offer stipends to undergraduate students in the vast umbrella of anthropology to help offset the cost of their first field experiences.
