K. Paul Mallasch is a journalist, poet, and pilgrim - not necessarily in that order. He's been in love with words since he could first read and write. He served seven years at a newspaper (Gannett owned), attended Ball State University and has been committing acts of journalism on his own and with others since 2005. He's had a love of computers and code since he was young - the golden age of personal computers in the 1980s. He connected to local BBS numbers rather than paying hourly for access to Compuserve. And then the internet was released upon the world. The rest is the unfolding history of the Information Age.
