Kay Donato is a Special Education teacher and parent of a child with autism. She spent many years homeschooling her children and successfully taught her autistic son basic skills needed to function in life. Her website, aplusasd.com, gives parents and teachers the tools they need to teach children with autism basic academics and daily living skills. When Kay is not writing books and articles, she and her family enjoy taking occasional trips to the coast and discussing politics and religion.
