Laura Berg

Laura Berg is the President of My Smart Hands Inc, a company that teaches baby sign language and now boasts over 200 instructors worldwide. Her published book, The Baby Signing Bible has cemented her status as the go-to authority on Baby Sign Language. She is a College Professor and professional speaker that shares her entrepreneurial journey with audiences around the world. Laura holds a post-graduate degree in Education, BA in Sociology and Child Studies and a Diploma in ASL and Deaf studies. She has won many awards and been recognized in the media all over the world. She appeared on Dragons’ Den television show (Shark Tank in the US) where she secured a business deal from two of the investors. Laura was also named a top 10 Chatelaine Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist in the TBOT Business of the Year award. She has appeared on the front page of the Toronto Star, been showcased in the Globe & Mail’s Report on Business Magazine, MacLean’s Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine and many more.
