Lauren D'Andrea is a dedicated special education teacher and author. She graduated from Central Michigan University in 2016 with degrees in English, Earth Science, and Special Education. Since 2017, Lauren has devoted her career to working with diverse learners, particularly children with emotional impairments. She finds immense joy in teaching and is passionate about helping underprivileged children reach their full potential. Lauren’s love for storytelling began during college, and she recently published her debut children's fantasy adventure, Dragons, Danger, and Destiny For Kids, Campaign One: Arla’s Gift. This interactive book allows young readers to embark on magical adventures while encouraging creativity and critical thinking. Lauren's writing is focused on creating engaging, family-friendly experiences that inspire problem-solving and exploration. As both a teacher and an author, Lauren is committed to using literature as a tool to support learning and growth. Her debut book has been praised for its unique, interactive format and its ability to captivate young readers and their families. In addition to writing, Lauren loves traveling and spending time outdoors, often finding inspiration in nature for her stories. She is a proud mother of two young daughters and enjoys sharing her love for literature and adventure with them. At home, she spends time with her 14-year-old dog, Bella, and writes in her spare time. Lauren continues to develop new projects in her Dragons, Danger, and Destiny series, always with the goal of inspiring children through imaginative stories. She enjoys connecting with readers through school visits and online, where she shares her passion for teaching and storytelling.
