Lesley Ware

Lesley Ware, born in Muskegon, Michigan in 1977, learned to sew at the age of four. She pursued higher education at Western Michigan University and earned a Master's in Public Administration in 2003. Lesley's professional journey includes significant roles at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Forbes Funds, and the Girl Scouts' national office. In 2008, she launched The Creative Cookie blog, marking her official entry into the fashion industry, and in 2021, she created a DIY web series with Creative Bug, Nuuly, and Fab Scrap. Currently, she owns Art to Ware in NYC, a fashion startup specializing in one-of-a-kind upcycled pieces, and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and cats.
