Liz believes in the transformative power of poetry. She has compiled two anthologies, A Poem to Read Aloud Every Day of the Year (Sept 2023) and Poems for Tortured Souls (June 2024). She has conducted workshops in libraries and with community groups encouraging a daily poetry-reading habit. Liz is a museum and gallery educator at the Charles Dickens Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. Liz has a degree in English literature and social science from the University of Cambridge and a doctorate from University College London for research into childhood speech and literacy development.
