Pam Howland has been litigating cases in Idaho state and federal courts since 2001 and has represented employers from around the country against claims encompassing a variety of complex employment laws, including claims of discrimination, harassment, non-compete violations, trade secret misappropriation, wrongful termination, FLSA, FMLA, and ADA. She regularly counsels employers on how to avoid litigation on topics related to discipline, termination, retaliation, internal policies and procedures, and evolving (and complex) laws such as Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, and unfair competition. In February 2016, Pam formed Idaho Employment Lawyers, a boutique law firm dedicated to handling Idaho employment law issues. In 2023, Pam created Law for Leaders, a training program aimed at keeping business owners, HR professionals, and supervisors, out of the courthouse. Pam also obtained her Global Speaker Certification in 2023 and enjoys speaking to business leaders about her experiences as a litigator and why they need training to stay out of trouble. In 2024, Pam is looking forward to writing her first book and continuing her efforts to keep businesses out of the courthouse. Pam is active in the local community. She currently serves on the Board of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights and on the Board of the Entrepreneur’s Organization of Idaho.
