Ruairidh MacVeigh was born in Devon and lived there until he left for University where he followed his lifelong passion to study transport. He has since become an avid writer, whether scripts for his YouTube channels or historical transport books, he has a fascination for the economic, social and political factors that decided whether transportation projects were a success or failure. He now lives and works in the West Midlands.
