SHYAMKANT KULKARNI

SHYAMKANT KULKARNI Shyamkant Kulkarni was born in Bombay India in 1941. He started his career ranking First Class First in the SSC examination of Vidarbha Board of Secondary Education in 1958. He completed B.Tech(Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (1964), Master of Electrical Engineering from University of Pune (1968) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering also from University of Pune in 1973. His Ph.D. Thesis was entitled “Computer Simulation of Systemic Models”. He has taught several courses in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering for over 35 years at various colleges under University of Pune and Nagpur University for over 35 years. He also worked as Visiting Professor at Illinois Institute of Technology in 1991-92. Besides he has worked as Engineer and R and D Manager in industries around Pune for over ten years. He has several publications in scientific journals, conferences and seminars as well as news papers. He has travelled widely in the U.S. along with his family during summer holidays.
