关于作者

I have been taking family road trips since childhood. Of course, these trips were out of necessity back then: we couldn't afford to fly. One of the memories I have as a kid was the wonder of driving into Big Bend National Park for the first time. After endless miles of scrub brush and desert, we saw the peaks of the mountains. At the time, these were the only mountains I had ever seen. The older I've become, the more I realize there is more to vacations than getting from here to there; the stuff in the middle is important, too. I am married with kids, and we still take family road trips. We have long conversations, reconnect, play silly car games, look for different license plates, and view the incredible scenery. I wanted to share some of the best trips I've ever taken. I want you to experience what a great road trip is all about. I hope you enjoy these books. There will be more trips to come.
