Shield Wall Media was founded in July 2019 when Gary Reichert purchased the construction trade magazine titles from the now-defunct F+W Media. At that time, Reichert had spent nearly a decade with F+W Media developing relationships with advertisers and getting to know the construction trade. Shield Wall Media now publishes Rural Builder; Rollforming Magazine; Frame Building News; Metal Roofing Magazine; Garage, Shed & Carport Builder; and Roofing Elements magazine. Shield Wall Media also produces the Construction Rollforming Show and the Garage, Shed & Carport Builder Show. The newest construction magazine is Roofing Elements, which addresses the physical environment and how elements like heat, moisture, wind and sun affect roofing. The elements need to be considered in every aspect from material choice and design to installation techniques.
