Stu Harrell

Stu Harrell writes light verse as opposed to the elegance of pure poetry. They are little tales....Often whimsical with light humor included. They are written to encourage kids to make up little stories on their own by using a lyrical bounce and a playfulness with words. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a graduate degree in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University. A former Army Captain, he was a career stockbroker who learned light verse from his opera singing grandmother.
