Todd is a critically acclaimed composer, songwriter, and member of the indie rock band Bad Astronaut (on Fat Wreck Chords). His youngest son, Rowan, was still learning to talk during the long days of the pandemic, and their playful conversations sparked silly word combinations that led to the idea of a children’s book – except for "Tiger Beans," an early nickname for his eldest son, Aden. The words wouldn't have transformed into an actual book without Todd meeting Geta Bell, whose artistic magic brought them to life. Todd and his family currently reside in Santa Barbara, California.
