Zareen Wilhelm is an award-winning author and illustrator, working under the name Chase Americana. Her book Sammy’s Voyage to a New Home has received accolades from the Hollywood Book Festival, Paris Book Festival, and the prestigious Literary Titan Award for its innovative storytelling and powerful themes of growth and resilience. Though a natural artist, Zareen’s academic and professional journey began in neuroscience research, followed by a career in engineering. After a decade in the tech industry, she combined her scientific knowledge with her creative talents to co-author and illustrate the Tailless Trails series.
