Thomas E. Brown, Ph.D. SUMMARY OF BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Dr. Brown is a clinical psychologist who received his Ph.D. from Yale University and is the Director of the Brown Clinic for Attention and Related Disorders in Manhattan Beach, California. Dr. Brown and his Associate Director, Dr. Ryan Kennedy offer specialized assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with ADHD and related problems, with a special interest in those with High-IQ. For 20 years Dr. Brown was an Asst. Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine and former Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Dr. Brown has presented papers, workshops and symposia at national meetings of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Psychological Association, American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, National Assn. of School Psychologists, International Neuropsychological Society, the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association and CHADD. He has also presented workshops at international meetings of professionals in over 40 countries throughout the world. Dr. Brown received an award of honor by the National Attention Deficit Disorder Assn. and has been inducted into the CHADD Hall of Fame. He has served on the Professional Advisory Board for national CHADD and for the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association. He has published articles in professional journals and is author of the Brown Executive Function/Attention Rating Scales (formerly the Brown Attention Deficit Disorder Scales for Children, Adolescents and Adults) published by Pearson.
