Paul A. Cleveland

Dr. Paul A. Cleveland (1954- ) is a professor of economics, author, and lecturer. Dr. Cleveland was born in Alabama, and holds his undergraduate and master degrees from Auburn University. He holds his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. He has authored two books and he revised and expanded Basic Economics by Clarence B. Carson for it's 3rd edition. Dr. Carson served as one of Dr. Cleveland's mentors from 1995 until the time of his death. In 2015, with L. Dwayne Barney he updated another of Dr. Carson's books originally titled The World in the Grip of an Idea. The title of the new book is The Great Utopian Delusion: The Global Rise of Government and the Destruction of Liberty.
