Philip Ruge-Jones

Philip Ruge-Jones is associate professor of theology at Texas Lutheran University. He teaches in multiple areas including biblical interpretation, Lutheran confessional documents, and contemporary contextual theologies. He served for two years as a pastoral intern in Chile and for four years as a pastor among Salvadoran immigrants in New York. In addition to the books he has written, he performs the Gospel of Mark in its entirety from memory. A dvd of this performance is available through SELECT Multimedia Resources.
