Alice Vega

Alice Vega, a resident of NYC is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Her edgy and on trend clothing for women and young teens lead to an extensive career in the fashion industry designing for some of the best known manufacturers and retailers in NYC. In 2007 she began working independently to pursue other areas of fashion. Working with a diverse range of clients allowed her to expand her talents, while experiencing other areas of fashion that included product development, fashion forecasting, production and graphic design. Her lifelong fascination with history and love of fashion led to the publication of her first book Monet the Master Jewelers in 2011. This beautifully photographed book, traces the history of the world renowned costume jewelry company Monet, from its inception in 1929 to the present. She is now once again combining her two favorite subjects fashion and history in a forthcoming book that will detail the historyand style of women's fashion accessories.
