Joanne Fink, award-winning calligrapher, author, designer and inspirational speaker, spent most of her career developing products for the gift, stationery, craft and faith-based industries. In 2011, Joanne’s husband of 29 years died unexpectedly of a heart attack, just two days before their son’s 12th birthday. Joanne began journaling as a way of getting through her loss, and included excerpts from her grief journals in her illustrated memoir, When You Lose Someone You Love.
