Rob Goss

Rob Goss is a multi-award-winning author and writer based in Tokyo. He is the author of seven books on Japan, including Japanese Inns & Hot Springs and the NATJA 2018 Gold-winning Japan Traveler's Companion, and has coauthored multiple guidebooks for Lonely Planet. Rob has also written for National Geographic, BBC Travel, and more than 100 other publications around the globe. He is a published haikuist and a fan of micro fiction. Besides the constant quest for a good story, Rob’s current long-term projects include a collection of haiku and haibun and a book on small town Japan.
