Kristin graduated from San Diego State University summa cum laude with a degree in History. For two years she studied painting with the renowned Spanish artist Sebastian Capella. After teaching Art History and Art to homeschooled students for 7 years, she decided to spend her time homeschooling her son and writing books. Kristin is the founder of ARTK12: Art History Disguised as Fun. Currently Kristin has over 20 books in print. Her draw map series (9 books) is a favorite among homeschoolers and has sold over 100,000 copies to date. Kristin resides in Dehesa Valley, California with her husband and son.
