Since 1995 Christina (Harvey) Darlington has been studying Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons as a Christian, both from inside these religions (going undercover and talking with leaders of all levels), and outside these religions, talking with countless Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses and Ex-Mormons from around the world. In all experiences, one theme remains constant. Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses have both been conditioned by their leaders to mentally block anything that an "opposer" of their religion has to say. Hence, getting them to listen to a Christian who wants to share an alternate view can be very difficult. So, while studying the mind-control used by leaders in these religions, she has learned effective ways to get through to their members by approaching them with challenging questions in a non-confrontational way that causes them to be curious about the Christian viewpoint enough to ask and listen. To this end, she has founded the ministry of Witnesses for Jesus Inc, a non-profit ministry to Jehovah’s Witnesses and Latter-day Saints (Mormons). As a devoted Christian, her passion is to alert the Christian community to the doctrines of these groups and to train and equip Christians to be effective witnesses to those ensnared by these counterfeit religions. The Biblical God is the God of truth, and truth does not fear examination. If a religious organization or church cannot stand up under examination, it is not “the Truth,” but is rather a counterfeit, and LOYALTY to a counterfeit is DISLOYALTY to God. The ministry of Witnesses for Jesus was born out of a deep love and concern for Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons who have committed their lives to a counterfeit faith.
