Joni L. Mihura

Joni L. Mihura, PhD was born in Stillwater, OK. Her mother's side of the family is Native American (Pawnee). She lived most of her life in Oklahoma until she started her career. She co-leads a personality assessment lab with her husband in the doctoral program at the University of Toledo where she teaches personality assessment, an advanced assessment practicum, and psychodynamic/integrative therapy. She obtained early career awards in both of her areas of expertise, from the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Society for Personality Assessment (SPA). In the psychological assessment domain, she has published many articles and served on SPAs Board of Trustees and on the editorial board for the Journal of Personality Assessment and Rorschachiana.
