Hello fellow artist, colorist, authors and friends; permit me to introduce myself I'm Jose Villalba but my family and friends know me as JV. I'm new to the book making arena but I have been an artist all of my life. Ever since I can remember I have had a love for all things art it is something that I truly enjoy as well as an aspect of my life that completely defines me. Art to me is not simply a hobby, it is something that I live with every single day no matter the style or medium. I enjoy drawing, painting, screen printing, sculpting, as well as writing. At times when schedule and time permits I also enjoy teaching others, specially kids, it is highly important to have a creative outlet in life and what better way than art. The simple act of creating something defines who we are as humans, we must always express our selves, we must always show our thoughts and ideas. It does not matter your talent level or expertise, simply make, mold, shape.....do. It does not matter is you have a paint brush or a frying pan the point is to create......show the world your world.
