关于作者

Nicole Dyer is a genealogist, writer, and speaker. Her research interests include the United States Mid-South Region, the Civil War, and 19th century England. She is the creator of Family Locket where she and her mother, Diana, collaborate to share family history ideas in three main subject areas: research tips, creating and sharing family history, and LDS family history. Nicole graduated from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a degree in History Teaching. She is passionate about helping teens connecting to the past by researching their family and local history. She created “Family History Storytime,” a program for preschool age children and their parents at the Tucson Family History Center. Children learn about family trees, relationships, heirlooms, and more through stories, songs, and crafts. Nicole hosts the “Family History for Children Blog Link Up” at Family Locket each month and loves learning new ways to help children learn about family history. Nicole is a member of the Steering Committee for the Pima County Genealogy Society and speaks regularly at genealogy conferences and events.
