Nadine Shillingford

Nadine Shillingford is an artist and writer. Professionally, Nadine is a Certified Splunk Architect/Member of Splunk Trust with over 10+ years experience using Splunk in the security field. She has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame. She recently left her position as a security consultant to return to academia. She is serving as an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Data Science at the School of Applied Computer Sciences at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. In her off hours, Nadine loves working with charcoal to make beautiful portraits. Her artwork can be seen in the book Hello Beautiful! and on her website https://charcoalatte.com. She is a native of the island of Dominica in the Caribbean but currently lives in Nashville, TN.
