Brenda Irish Heintzelman

In the late 1990s Brenda became a Realtor and soon earned her Real Estate Broker license and started her own business – Traverse City Realty. In 2008 Brenda earned her Associate of Science and Arts degree from NMC and in 2011 she earned her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Calvin College. In 2015 Brenda reached her long-term goal of earning her law degree from Cooley Law School. Since graduating from law school Brenda has worked with the Maryland State Police as a police dispatcher and with the Maryland Judiciary as a District Court Commissioner. In 2018, after receiving phone calls from back home from people saying, "I'm concerned about your dad", Brenda resigned from her position as a Court Commissioner and opened her own mediation practice in addition to continuing to serve as the broker and owner of Traverse City Realty so she could work right from home. Brenda Irish Heintzelman is both the Broker and Owner of Traverse City Realty (since 2002) and a Domestic Relations Mediator who specializes in Domestic Relations cases including divorce, custody, co-parenting, child access, and child protection. Brenda serves families in both Maryland and Michigan.
