M. Ray Davis

M. Ray Davis was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Ill during the early part of the 1970s. He lived in the working-class neighborhood of Pilsen, and then in his teenage years, his family moved to the Brighton Park neighborhood where he attended Thomas Kelly High School. He has always loved post-apocalyptic stories and movies, as well as horror and sci-fi as well as Hardboiled Detective stories. Mr. Davis has spent many years as a Private Security Officer in and around Chicago. He is also a Disaster Preparedness aficionado (read that as Prepper). In 2009 Mr. Davis became a licensed Amateur Radio operator. He is very active in his local ARES group and currently active doing Parks on the Air on 20 meter SSB. M. Ray Davis moved to Iowa almost 20 years ago where he lives with his loving wife and two cats.
