Uma is an engineer+artist combo from San Jose, California. She wields her brush as a weapon to heal and balance her life in midst of cut throat culture of Silicon Valley. iPad sketching has been especially vital to making art on days when work spills into nights and weekends, by making few minutes of coloring possible without spilling pigments in bed. She is a firm believer in #crosspollination and believes that being an artist makes her a better engineer and being an engineer makes her a better artist. When she is not being an author, she works with cutting edge technology and challenging problems and leads engineering teams to find elegant solutions for them.
