Michele Eaton

Michele Eaton is the Director of Warren Online Academy for the M.S.D. of Warren Township in Indianapolis, Indiana. She serves as the building leader for this 5-12 online and hybrid program. Michele started her career as a 2nd grade teacher and also taught online for Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in their Learning By Design Master’s program and for the undergraduate education program. Michele is a Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL). She was recently named an Education Week Leader to Learn From and a NextGeneration Leader by EdScoop and the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Michele currently serves as a community leader for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and as Chairperson for ISTE’s Indiana affiliate organization (Indiana Connected Educators). Michele has a passion for high quality online and blended learning for students. With thoughtful use of online learning, we can transform what learning looks like, creating highly personalized and highly effective experiences for students. She believes that the first step in making this a reality is to create these types of learning experiences for teachers. A significant portion of her work focuses on transforming adult learning to showcase the ways technology and online learning can have a positive impact for all learners.
