David DiGiuseppe

David DiGiuseppe is a multi-faceted performer who has been playing professionally since 1978. A nationally recognized accordionist, DiGiuseppe is known for his fiery and emotive playing and is equally at home performing Irish tunes in a pub, French musettes in a cabaret, music for contra dances, or in the intimate setting of a concert hall. DiGiuseppe plays with numerous bands including FootLoose, Contrazz, Craicdown, The Nee Ningy Band and a number of other groups. ​ DiGiuseppe has released three recordings showcasing his playing on music from Celtic, Parisian and American traditions. Reviewer John O'Regan of Ireland wrote, "...a player of immense talent and vision, David is a musician worth encountering." ​ DiGiuseppe is featured on four releases with his band FootLoose, CDs with his bands Craicdown and Contrazz, and appears on numerous recordings backing other musicians. He has written six music books for accordion published through Mel Bay Publishing, including both method tutors and tune collections.
