Amy Harman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. She has been working as a therapist since 2004 and specializes in treating those struggling with eating disorders. She has a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Utah State University. She is passionate about helping others with body image issues, and her research and experience in this area prompted her to write a book. She enjoys speaking and presenting at community events and professional trainings. She is currently in private practice in Fairfax, Virginia. She is a wife and mother of three boys, and a daughter and granddaughter with a rich heritage of those who have gone before. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, dancing, and being out in nature.
