Jashar Awan is a graduate of Pratt Institute who now lives in Ohio. His illustrations have appeared in such publications as The New Yorker, the New York Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Jashar made his debut as an author / illustrator with "What A Lucky Day!" from Norton Young Readers. Publisher's Weekly named him one of their Flying Starts for Fall 2020.
