Vicki is the co-founder of the award-winning website Women Who Money and is the blogger behind her own site, Make Smarter Decisions. Together with Women Who Money co-founder Amy Blacklock, they also run the websites Womens Money Talk and Snowbirding Central. Vicki and Amy are the co-authors of Estate Planning 101, From Avoiding Probate and Assessing Assets to Establishing Directives and Understanding Taxes, Your Essential Primer to Estate Planning, now on pre-order and launching on August 3, 2021. Vicki has also contributed articles to GOBankingRates, Medi-Share, and a variety of personal finance sites around the web. She enjoys writing about real estate investing, financial independence, career decisions, and travel. Vicki was a high school science teacher, school administrator, and college professor in her over 30-year career as an educator. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester. Vicki was also a landlord for over 25 years. After achieving financial independence, she left full-time employment and is now pursuing passion projects. Vicki and Amy are both focused on personal wellness, in addition to helping people improve their financial wellness.
