Corkie Bolton grew up in Ossining, New York and started making jewelry at Ossining High School at the age of 14. She received her bachelor of fine arts in Jewelry Making from Pratt Institute. She loves the countless techniques used in jewelry making and will always consider herself a student. To connect with other jewelers, Corkie founded Metalsmith Society a community of over 200,000 students, hobbyists and professional jewelers on Instagram. She also creates and sells her own jewelry designs and plant stands. She lives in Rhode Island with her husband, and their two children. Her passions are gardening, lifting weights, and soaking in her tub.
