I write for kids about deeply felt emotions, siblings, and magical things, and am influenced by fairy and folk tales (love them!) as well as my childhood in Georgia (USA). My works tend to include resilient protagonists working through difficult and often extreme situations as my hope is for kids to see themselves as resilient heroes of their own stories.
