Julia Maroney

As a nursing leader with over 35 years of total nursing experience, including nearly 30 years of progressive home care and hospice nursing management experience, 10 years in executive management and 14 years and counting in consulting, Julia H Maroney, RN MHSA, realized there aren’t a lot of resources for clinical managers to learn how to be successful in their careers. A Registered Nurse with a Masters in Health Services Administration from St. Joseph's College in Maine, Julia hopes sharing her substantive experience in overall operations, including change leadership, quality improvement, regulatory compliance and legislative advocacy influences the future leaders in home health and hospice agencies, guiding them to positive, successful careers. Besides writing, Julia founded a website that is a great resource for clinical managers featuring books, podcasts, newsletters, courses, colleague connection and career insight. She currently resides in Florida with her husband of 35 years, and has a grown daughter and son-in-law.
