Writing from the depths of my being has taught me that I will forever be a student of the craft. As I work to establish myself as a writer and independent publisher, I am using the criticisms I have received, the unmet expectations of my readers, and the knowledge that reviews can be manipulated, as a tool for growth. There have been times when the decisions I made about the books I was writing were excellent, and other times when they were less so. I appreciate compliments and criticism equally. Thanks to getting a head start when I was young, I can now devote myself to writing full-time.
