No matter what field you choose to pursue, you quickly discover that a strong personal investment is no guarantee of success. Writing from the depths of my being has taught me that I will forever be a student of the craft.
As I work to establish myself as a writer and independent publisher, I am using the criticisms I have received, the unmet expectations of my readers, and the knowledge that reviews can be manipulated, as a tool for growth.
There have been times when the decisions I made about the books I was writing were excellent, and other times when they were less so. I appreciate compliments and criticism equally.
Thanks to getting a head start when I was young, I can now devote myself to writing full-time. My goal is to improve to the point where I can facilitate the sharing of the passion of other non-traditional writers with the world. Please be patient; I'm saving my best for last.
I'm always happy to hear from readers and authors; after all, that's what keeps the world turning.
